Story

A mushroom-like Astromon born in a fiery region. It's most closely related to plants than animals, and consumes heat to grow.

After consuming enough heat, a fire Mushi will grow into a fire Fungust. Its fiery personality keeps it always moving, and it will throw explosive spores at a dangerous enemy to block its vision before charging at it full-speed.

More reckless than their wood or water cousins, fire Sporefists prefer facing off against danger rather than avoiding it. They are able to do so thanks to the cap on their head, which absorbs the shock of enemies' blows, enabling them to counterattack.

Story

This Astromon is mainly found in regions with high humidity, such as swamps or near brooks. They are not the most adept at battle, making them easy to capture. Once captured, they need to proided copious amounts of water to survive.

From a small shroom to a fierce fungus, this Astromon can more easily evolve into a Variant when exposed to air. Variants come in a somewhat darker color.

This Astromon may look a little silly when it hops, but when you see it leaping at you to greatly close the distance, "Silly!" is not the word that will be escaping your lips. Its main attacks are punches, but it can also use its tail to prop up its body and deliver devastating kicks.

Story

"It's easy to mistake this Astromon for a regular mushroom if you're not paying attention, a fact it uses to its advantage. When confronted with danger, it will stand still and hold its breath to blend in. Of course, seasoned adventurers such as yours truly can identify them simply by looking." -"Astromon Behavioral Observations for Beginning Adventurers, Vol. 1" by P. Gilbert

"Once Mushies evolve, they become Fungusts, and this is when adventurers must pay attention. Their bodies evolve to become specialized in combat, and their punches will have you seeing stars. Luckily, they are relatively docile, and can be easily avoided by experienced adventurers." -"Astromon Behavioral Observations for Beginning Adventurers, Vol. 1" by P. Gilbert

"Even new adventurers may have heard of Sporefists, who appear regularly in the Astromon League. With their highly developed arms and legs, they move quickly and fight like a seasoned brawler. Keeping your distance is no guarantee for safety, as they can throw spores that explode upon impact. Of course, for an expert adventurer like myself..." -"Astromon Behavioral Observations for Beginning Adventurers, Vol. 1" by P. Gilbert
