StoryEdit

"in order to conduct research on Squirrus in a proper fashion, one must first understand all their little quirks and idiosyncrasies. One of these traits is the Squirrus's love of hiding seeds, emerald clovers, and even small pebbles in its nest." -Excerpt from "Advanced Astromon Research Methodology" by Edgar Dobber

"The most astonishing thing I discovered when researching the nesting habits of Squirror was the complete lack of uniformity in nest decoration. Some Squirrior collect beautiful petals, while others collect only polished stones. Truly fascinating! I must document these findings in detail!" -Excerpt from "An Squirrior Fanatic's Journal" by Bodmin Balmoral

StoryEdit

Unlike its wild cousins, a water Squirrus that has been hatched by its master and raised by hand is actually rather obedient. With its cutesy charm, the Squirrus is adored by many and is a popular choice for beginner masters.

Squirriors make up for their lack of combat ability with superb speed and agility, skills they use to confuse enemies before moving in to exert its dominance. Of course, such talents only become possible with proper training under the tutelage of an able master.

StoryEdit

An excerpt from "Theories on Ecological Exchange Vol. 252" by Astromon Academy: "Esquirels are possessed of the astonishing ability to summon at will the seeds of any plant to their cheek pouches, before firing them off in rapid succession, aimed directly at the head of their opponents. The underlying mechanism is not fully understood, but several research groups are dedicated to find out. According to their early reports, Esquirels are somehow able to manipulate space-time to pluck seeds from the inside of fruits and transfer those seeds directly to their cheeks. Clearly a full understanding of such a mechanism would be revolutionary, and we here at the Association wait with anticipation for the announcement of the final results.

StoryEdit

A Squirrus's greatest strength is surely its agility. A common Astromon in the wild, walk around for just a few minutes and your bound to encounter at least one, if not a while Squirris squadron! This Astromon is fairly used to encountering humans, but is still instinctively very cautious and can be difficult to catch.

StoryEdit

By habit, a Squirrior collects seeds and nuts and stores them in its nest. Sometimes it even buries them in the ground, but the Squirrior tries to avoid this as it forgets exactly where it buried them. If a Squirrior really cannot remember, it tries not to worry too much; soon enough the seed will sprout and grow into a tree, which is good for the environment!

StoryEdit

A shy Astromon (some would say cowardly), Esquirels owe their ability to survive until their ultimate form to that cautious instinct. When faced with a threatening foe, an Esquirel waits for the perfect opportunity to fire a high-velocity volley of seeds from its cheek pouches, before fleeing into the undergrowth. Traveling explorers have regularly detailed such experiences in their adventure journals.
